Amanda Blake, born as Beverly Louise Neill, was an incredibly popular American actor. Her most famous role was being the actress who played Kitty Russell in the television series. Kitty Russell in the TV series 'Gunsmoke'. Additionally actress, she's appeared on dramas on television like "The Red Skelton Show", "Tattletales" and "The Edge of Night". In addition, she was a part of dozens of movies, including 'Stars in My Crown' 'Duchess of Idaho and 'Cattle Town and 'Miss Robin Crusoe' "About Mrs. Leslie The Adventures of Hajji Baba', 'High Society', and 'The Boost'. Blake is an operator of telephones by trade was a lover of animals. Along with husband Frank Gilbert, was one among the first individuals to successfully breed cheetahs. She was a co-founder alongside her husband Frank Gilbert of Arizona Animal Welfare League. Blake was also a board member of Humane Society of the United States. Blake received numerous honors which include being inducted into Hall of Great Western Performers of the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.
