Harry

Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter, and musician. He was part of One Direction. Harry Styles was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1, 1994, and is the child of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School where he created his own band, composed of three classmates, which was dubbed White Eskimo. They were the winners of the Battle of Bands in 2009 with their amazing performance. While he's always fascinated by music, he was also interested in becoming an lawyer or an physiotherapist. He was employed in an area bakery on a part-time basis to help his family financially. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition during which he performed the Stevie Wonder's hit song Is not She Lovely. This was the reason the band split up. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who recommended Harry Styles to be part a future group called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group and they were created in the year 2010. The group performed hits such as My Life Would Suffer Without You which was written by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. They were one of the potential winners to win the award. The group was however placed third position behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles' group didn't win, but Cowell did pay two million dollars for One Direction for them to agree to a contract with Syco.
