Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay Brodie was born in Ogden Utah on September 15 1915. Fawn is a member of the Mormon Church's oldest family, was able to combine her literary expertise and impressive research skills to create a stunning biography of Joseph Smith. No Man knew My History appeared in 1945. The title of this book was in response to a funeral address that was delivered by the Church of Latter-Day Saints founder, Joseph Smith. The sermon said: "You do not know who I am and have never seen my heart." My life story isn't known to anybody. No one knows my history. Fawn, a 29-year-old woman wrote: "Since that moment of candor, at least three writers have risen to the task." They do not have a lack of documents, they just contradict each with respect to each other. In order to assemble these documentsand separate the firsthand stories from plagiarism by third parties, and finally, to put Mormon and non Mormon narratives together into a reliable mosaic isn't an difficult task. It's both thrilling and instructive. Such was the task to which Fawn Brodie put her professional energy into. Her writings and research brought her fame around the world. Thaddeus Stephens. The Devil drives (1959). Thomas Jefferson. A Personal History of Richard Nixon (1974) as also the posthumously Richard Nixon.
